Riskin is also one of the state association's five elected representatives to the House of Delegates of its national af- filiate, the American Associa- tion of Homes for the Aging. To be elected the new presi- dent of MNPHA is Roger Myers, executive director of Michigan Masonic Homes in Alma, Mich. He shares with Riskin a tie to the LeVine family, which founded the LeVine Institute on Aging in 1983. David LeVine, a lifelong Mason, had over the years contributed financial support to the Masonic Home as well as to the Jewish Home for Aged. Ex-Detroiter Fulbright Scholar Louis H. Katz, of Helena, Mont., and a graduate of Oak Park High School, has been awarded a Fulbright Scholar- ship to study folk pottery in Domkwean, Thailand, for eight months beginning Oct. 3. Katz is a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute, and received his M.F.A. degree from Montana State University. He is the son of Joseph and Fern Katz of Southfield.
