Maxine Berman
represents the 64th District of
Oakland County in the
Michigan state legislature.
She is the past chairman of
the Southfield Democratic
Club and the State House
taxation subcommittee on tax
credits.
She was the executive direc-
tor of a statewide citizen's net-
work organized to lobby
legislators on consumer
issues. She is affiliated with
the executive boards of the
17th District and Oakland
County Democratic Parties,
Oakland County Council —
Children at Risk, National
Organization for Women,
Southfield Arts Council,
NAACP and the League of
Women Voters.
Activities were planned by
Program Chairman Mrs.
Elaine Krohn Medwed.
Chairmen of the day are Mrs.
Ruth Borenstein and Mrs.
Beatrice Hertz.
