Eating Disorder Program Opens Psychotherapist Jacqueline Odom has developed a new eating disorders program for women that helps them get to the root of the problem of why they overeat. Beginning in October at the Eastwood Clinic in Troy, Ms. Odom, a clinical social worker who has dealt with addictive disorders for the past 10 years, offers women a three-stage program in which she helps them pin- point their reasons for overeating and provides new skills to help them gain con- trol and develop a healthy at- titude toward food. The program is aimed at bulimics, people who binge and purge or resort to ex- treme measures of diet and exercise, and at compulsive overeaters, people who binge, whose eating is out of control.
