Rabbi Daniel F. Polish will
be installed as senior rabbi of
Temple Beth El at 8 p.m.
today.
Rabbi Polish, who assumed
his new duties at Temple
Beth El Aug 1, will be install-
ed by his father, Rabbi David
Polish, a pioneer in Reform
Zionist circles. Both rabbis
will address the congregation,

combined with a traditional
Friday night Sabbath service.
Professor Jason and Mamie
Tickton, Temple organist and
choir director, have arranged
music for the event, which
will be provied by Cantor Jan
Mahler and members of the
Detroit Symphony Orchestra
and the Chamber Winds.
An Oneg Shabbat honoring
the new rabbi will follow the
service. Chairman for the
evening is Lucille Miller.
