JPI offers c asses to
children in nursery through
ninth grade, teaching subjects
such as holidays and Bible
stories, early history of the
Jews, modern. Israel and Jews
around the world, Jews in
America, the Jewish life cycle,
post-Biblical history, anti-
Semitism and the Holocaust,
modern Jewish history and
contemporary Jewish values
and issues.
Sunday school classes are
held on Sundays at 10 a.m. at
the Jewish Community
Center, Maple/Drake
Building.
JPI offers an optional b'nai
mitzvah program, which com-
bines a community related
work project with a
philosophical study of the
Torah and Talmud. Other op-
tional classes include an
adult TalmudfIbrah course,
an adult mysticism course
and a Hebrew course for
children and adults.
Opening day takes place on
Sept. 11. For information, call

Concert, Dinner

Melody Musicale will pre-

be Peace on Earth" at 2 p.m.
Sept. 18 in the home of Louise

the concert. There is a charge.

The Jabotinsky Herut
Zionist Organization will pre-

Zev Jabotinsky at 8:45 p.m.

nold Aronoff, executive com-
