will take place at the Troy
Hilton from 12:30 p.m. to
6 p.m. Sept. 18. There will be
information for single, divorc-
ed and widowed persons (18 to

entertainment. A nominal

Civic Center outside the
library. The route location

Is Scheduled

The Oakland University
Continuum Center will pre-
sent a "Single Series"
workshop beginning Sept. 13.
The topic will be "Making It
Alone." Subsequent meetings
will be held Sept. 27, "Mak-

ing Connections With Other
People"; and Oct. 4, "Roles,
Relationships and Sexuality."
Single-living specialist Bar-
bara Halpern, will facilitate
the Tuesday programs at 7
p.m. at the Birmingham Com-
munity House, 380 S. Bates,
Birmingham. There is a fee.

Singles Classes,
Programs Begin

New programs designed
just for singles are scheduled
for the fall semester at the
Highland Lakes campus of
Oakland Community College.
"Singles and Money," "For
Singles Only," "Singles
Games Night," "Singles and
Communication" are among
the enrichment classes being
organized to begin Sept. 26 at
the campus.

New Singles
Group Forms

A new singles group, spon-
sored by Congregation Beth
Shalom will have its first ac-
tivity 9:15 p.m. Sept. 24.
The Young Jewish Singles
will sponsor a "Night at the
Races." There is no charge for
betting, however, donations at
the door will help establish a
future programming fund.
Refreshments will be provid-
ed. Singles between 23 and 40
are invited.

Fall Color Tour

B'nai B'rith Michigan
Singles will go to the Irish
Hills for a fall color tour and

Has Gathering
