"Probe" and "MacGiver."
He is undecided about

CAMP STORIES

DOTTIE LEVITSKY,
director of Adat Shalom
Nursery School, reports
some of the cutest sayings
from campers. BRIAN
ROSENBAUM: While
sitting at the table in class
and waiting to eat the
snack, Brian said, "We just
said our prayer so now we
can go crunch, crunch,
crunch?' SCOTT
LACHMAN: While
momentarily separated
from good friend ALYSE
SOLOMON, Scott yelled
out, "Where's my
girlfriend?" KIM
SHINDEL: "What do we
say on Shabbat? After we
light the candles we say,
Happy Birthday." ERICA
COLBURN: During a
birthday party for
STEPHANIE AUGUST,
Erica said, "My dad is 6
years old." ALANA
CANVASSER: "We can't go
outside today. There's bugs
out there." JACLYN
GOLDEN: Jaclyn just
became a big sister and in
reporting the event she
said, "My mom just went
out to dinner and got a
baby."

TRIBUTE FUND

EVELYN LIBERMAN'S
surprise 60th birthday
party, given by her three
children, their spouses and
four grandchildren, was
more than a birthday
celebration. The children
established the Evelyn and
Murray Liberman Tribute
Fund at the Hospice of
Southeastern Michigan.
Evelyn has been involved
with the hospice since

1980, working on several
fundraisers and is now
president of the hospice
foundation. Her reaction to
such a wonderful gift — "A
mess of tears. It was very
touching." The fund will be
used for indigent patients.
Her children and
grandchildren include:
ANITA, ALAN, SARA and
ARI LAMPEAR: REENA,
PETER and TAL
NAGOURNEY; WALLY,
DEBBIE and SHAYNA
LIBERMAN.

27 Injured In
Haifa Bombing

Tel Aviv (JTA) — Twenty-
seven people were injured by
an explosion in the Hadar
HaCarmel quarter of Haifa
Saturday.
The charge, which police
say was an Israel Defense
Force hand grenade was ap-
parently thrown between a
crowded cafe and a toy store
in the Rehov Nordau pedes-
trian mall.
Eyewitnesses gave police
descriptions of three Arab
youths seen running away
from the scene. Three youths
answering the descriptions
were among dozens of Arabs
rounded up within minutes.
Police Minister Haim Bar-Lev
said they were residents of
the West Bank town of Jenin.
There have been several in-
stances of arson in the
popular pedestrian mall since
it opened just over a year ago,
but police ascribed the in-
cidents to "criminal ele-
ments" involved in commer-
cial disputes.
The tensions in the ad-
ministered territories were
felt in Israel proper in at least
two other incidents over the
weekend. In Tel Aviv, an Arab
watchman was reportedly
beaten by Jewish youths as
he guarded a building site in
downtown Hamasger Street
on Friday night.
Bassam Othman, from
Nablus, told police he had
been approached by the
youths, who spoke to him
before attacking him with
fists and wooden clubs. They
fled when Othman fell un-
conscious to the ground.
Police said the Jewish
youths ,may have been
members of one of several
"Friday night gangs" who
roam the city's entertainment
and bar area.

You should avoid foods high in
cholesterol. It's a fact, a high

stantially increases your
chances of developing heart
disease. By cutting down on
fatty, rich foods, you can do
yourself a big favor. You could
lower your blood cholesterol
level and reduce your risk of
