Songwriter Marvin Ham- lisch will perform at 8 p.m. Sept. 28 at Hill Auditorium. The Yoram Boker Mime • Troupe of Israel will perform Oct. 22 in the Lydia Mendelssohn Theater. Celebration will feature poet, psychotherapist, and educator Julie Heifetz Jan. 21 at the new B'nai B'rith Hillel Foundation building. Heifetz will present dramatic readings of her poetry, some based on oral histories by Holocaust survivors and liberators. On Nov. 15, Anne Roiphe, author of Generation Without Memory, and Up The Sand- box, kicks off the Great Writers series at 8 p.m. in Green Auditorium. Her latest is Lovingkindness. Julius Lester will appear on Feb. 7 in Green Auditorium. His latest book, Lovesong, Becoming a Jew, documents his journey from his childhood as a Methodist minister's son to black power politics in the '60s to Catholic mysticism and finally to his conversion to Judaism. Poet Yehuda Amichai will appear on March 25 in Green Auditorium. He is the author of seven books of poetry and has written plays for radio and stage, two novels and one book of short stories.
