newly formed men's support
organization, will hold a Las
Vegas night on Aug. 25,
beginning at 6:30 p.m. at
Knollwood Country Club.
Hors d'oeuvres and a dairy
buffet dinner will be served.
A large screen TV wil be
awarded as the evening's
grand prize.
Planning committee mem-

Herschfus Wins
Appointment

Dr. Leon Herschfus, chief,
department of dental surgery
and oral medicine at Mt.
Carmel Mercy Hospital, was
recently appointed to the
search committee for a new
dean of the University of
Detroit School of Dentistry.
Dr. Herschfus is a member
of the Michigan State Board
of Dentistry, a member of the
State Dental Specialty Task
Force, former national presi-
dent of the American
Academy of Oral Medicine
and former chairman of the
Southfield Board of Health.
