School Accepts
Registration

Congregation Beth Shalom
Religious School is accepting
registration for the 1988-1989
school year. Beth Shalom is
an independent Conservative
Religious School offering a
variety of activities for youth
in kindergarten through
seventh grade.
Classes are held on Monday
and Wednesday at Avery
School in Oak Park and at the
Jewish Community Center in
West Bloomfield on Tuesday
and Thursday. All classes
meet at Avery on Sunday. In
addition, bar/bat mitzvah pro-
grams and training are of-
fered at no additional charge.
There are separate junior
congregation services each
Sabbath morning for various
grade levels. Kadima and
United Synagogue Youth pro-
vide activities for youngsters.
The children's choir,
Shiraleers, led by Cantor
Samuel Greenbaum, par-
ticipates both in synagogue
and community functions.

Cyril C. Servetter. For infor-

Young Delegate
Joins G.O.P.

Debbie K. Schlussel, 19, of
Southfield, will be the
youngest delegate to the 1988
Republican National Conven-
tion. Schlussel, a University
of Michigan junior, was the
1986-1987 "Outstanding
Teenage Republican in the
Nation."
Schlussel was originally
elected as an alternate
