YAD At IPO.

The Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion Young Adult Division
will attend the Israel Philhar-
monic Orchestra Performance
on Thursday at the Meadow
Brook Music Festival.
YAD will host a bring-your-
own picnic dinner at 6:30 p.m.
at Meadow Brook and supply
lawn seats and dessert. There
is a charge for the evening,
and reservations are
required.

Institute Needs
Volunteers

The International Institute
of Metropolitan Detroit, a
United Foundation agency
serving the foreign-born, is in
need of volunteers to help out
at several annual fund-
raising events, including the
62nd Original Old World
Market, scheduled for Oct.
21-23 at the Southfield Civic
Center.
