LOUIS GLAZIER, vice
president of finance, has been
promoted to executive vice
president in charge of finance
and administration. Mr.
Glazier's responsibilities, in
addition to financial matters,
will involve the overall ad-
ministration of the Thorn Ap-
ple Valley Organization.
Mr. Glazier has been with

March 1975.

Faupel, whose practice in-

is a trustee of the Saline
Board of Education, chaired
the city of Saline's Industrial
Business and Development
Commission and was a
member of its Tax Board of
Review. She is a member of
the Representative Assembly
of the State Bar of Michigan,
and is editor of "Res Ipsa Lo-
quitur,' the newsletter of the
Washtenaw County Bar
Association.
Kornfield, who specializes
in computer law, copyright,
trademark, trade secret pro-
tection and commercial litiga-
tion, returned to Ann Arbor
after practicing law for five
years with a major Chicago
law firm, and is a member of
both the Illionis and the
Michigan Bars.
Postema, whose specialty is
general civil litigation, is a
member of the Wisconsin and
Michigan bars. The Ann Ar-
bor resident has worked as a
law clerk to Judge John
Feikens in the U.S. District
Court for the Eastern District
of Michigan and as a judicial
intern to Judge James Doyle

in the U.S. District Court for
the Western District of
Wisconsin.

FARMINGTON HILLS AT-
TORNEY MICHAEL A.
ROBBINS has been elected
to a three-year term to the
Michigan State Bar Repre-
sentative Assembly on behalf
of the attorneys of Oakland
County.
Robbins is a partner in the
Birmingham law firm of Vic-
tor, Robbins and Bassett.
He is a council member of
the State Bar of Michigan
family law section and serves
as the chairman of the "fami-
ly court" committee for that
Section. He is also a member
of the board of directors of the
Southfield Bar Association.

JILL E. KENT, formerly of
Detroit, was confirmed by the
United States Senate as assis-
tant secretary of the treasury
for management last month.
She has been serving as ac-
ting assistant secretary since
January, responsible for the
department's diverse budget-
managerial, and ad-
ministrative activities.
Since 1985, Kent was depu-
ty assistant secretary for
Departmental Finance and
Management.

DOUG ROSS, director of the
Michigan Department of
Commerce, has been selected
to receive a distinguished ser-
vice award by the National
Governors' Association in
recognition of his exceptional
service to state government.

ELAINE GREENBERG,
ZINA SHAYKHET AND
JACQUELINE GREKIN

school music coordinator,
