sary with their children,
grandchildren and great-

The senior adult depart-
ment of. the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Building of the Jewish
Community Center an-
nounces its Yiddish Reading
Circle with Sol Granadier
meets at 10:30 a.m. in room
4 today. A trip to Butzel Con-
ference Center also is plann-
ed today. The bus will leave at
12:30 p.m. A tour of the
facilities, refreshments and a
choir concert are included.
There is a nominal charge.
The Book Fair video, "Mor-
ning Moon," with Paula
Recket, will be shown in the
JPM atrium on Monday and
Thursday at 10 a.m.
Frances Weinberg will
review "A Daughter's Pro-
mise" by Julie Ellis on Tues-
day in room 4 at 11 a.m.
On Tuesday, Rabbi Jay
Karzen, formerly of Des
Plaines, Ill., and currently of
Rechavia, Jerusalem, will
speak on his experiences as a
recent oleh and will discuss
the current political situation
in Israel at 1 p.m. in the JPM
assembly hall.

Following the lecture, the
first part of the movie, "Rose
of Washington Square," will
take place at 2 p.m. in the
JPM assembly hall.
On Wednesday, "Explore
the Bible," with Stanley
Clamage, takes place in room
4 of the JPM at 11 a.m.
The Yiddish Culture Club
will present Harriet Goldman
singing at 12:30 p.m. Thurs-
day in Jaffe Hall of the JPM.
Irving Herman will
moderate the Press Review, a
current events discussion
group, at 12:30 p.m. Thursday
in room 15 of the JPM.

Vision Tests
For Seniors

The Oak Park Senior
Citizen Center will offer free
vision tests, presented by
Greenberg Eye Center, on
Tuesday at the Oak Park
Community Center at 12:30
p.m. For information, call the
