The Marilynn Klein Camp
Fund will provide day or over-
night camp for up to six
weeks next summer for any
single parent's child newly
enrolled in Yeshivat Akiva or
Yeshivath Beth Yehudah.
Widowed, divorced, or legally
separated parents are eligi
ble. A lawyer must verify the
need in cases of separation.
In 1986, Byron and Jocelyn
Ruth Krieger founded the
Single Parent Camp Fund to
provide a positive Jewish en-
vironment in the summer for
children in single-parent
homes.
The first contribution came
from the Lubavitcher Rebbe
Menachem Mendel Schneer-
son, who gave two $20 bills
for a raffle.
The sale of the bills netted
more than $1,000.
After the death last year of
Marilynn Klein, the camp
fund was placed in her name.
The Marilynn Klein Camp
Fund sent one child to over-
night camp, provided partial
assistance to another over-

night camper and sent seven
children to day camp.
Children from the Marilynn
Klein Camp Fund attend
overnight camp at Camp Gan
Israel in Kalkaska or Camp
Agudah Midwest in South
Haven for overnight camp,
and go to day camp at Akiva
Day Camp or Yeshivath Beth
Yehudah Day Camp.
T3 enroll, call Yeshivat
Akiva, 552-9690, or Yeshivath
Beth Yehudah, 557-6750. For
Camp fund information, call
Mrs. Krieger, 354-3149.
