Planned At JPM

The Senior Adult Depart-
ment of the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Jewish Community
Center will sponsor a current
events group conducted in
Yiddish by Sol Granadier. It
meets Fridays at 10:30 a.m.
in Room 4.
A "Love of Learning"
discussion group, moderated
by Israel Klaymer, meets
12:30 p.m. Fridays in Room 4.
The Book Fair Video, "A
Leak in the Heart" with Fay
Moskowitz, will be shown in
the Atrium 10 a.m. Monday
and 10 a.m. Thursday.
Frances Weinberg will pre-
sent a review of the book,
"The Rabbi is a Lady" by
Rabbi Alex Goldman, 11 a.m.
Tuesday in Room 4.
A monthly series, "Let's
Talk: With Jewish Leaders
New to Our Community," will
open with Pat Milner, assis-
tant administrator of the
Jewish Federation Apart-
ments, 1 p.m. Tuesday in the
Assembly Hall.
The first part of the movie
"Swing Parade" will be
shown in the Assembly Hall
at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
The Center Mens Forum

hosts "A Meeting of the
Minds" 10:30 a.m. every
Thursday in Room 4. Discus-
sion topics include retirement
activities, financial planning,
ethics, the stock market and
legal problems. Ted Masser-
man is moderator.
Celia Dzodin will lead a
sing-a-long for the Yiddish
Culture Club 12:30 p.m.
Thursday in Jaffe Hall.
Irving Herman will
moderate the Press Review, a
current events group, 12:30
p.m. Thursday in Room 15.

Center Seeks
Writers

The senior adult depart-
ment of the Jewish Com-
munity Center's Jimmy Pren-
tis Morris Building needs in-
dividuals with writing skills
to assist with publication of
its "Inside Happenings"
newsletter.
Those interested in
volunteering six to eight
hours each month for this pro-
ject should contact Diane
Sands, 967-4030.
