The Book Fair video, "The Jews in America — A Picture Album,' with Milton Meltzer will be shown in the JPM atrium at 10 a.m. on Monday and Thursday. All seniors are invited to a picnic on Tuesday at Temple Emanu-El's garden at noon. Seniors should bring grand- children and a brown bag lunch. Beverages, dessert, games, prizes and musical entertainment will be provid- ed. In case of rain, the picnic will be postponed. Fee includes admissions, tolls, docents for both museum and city tours, com- plete luncheon and deluxe transportation. Participants must bring proof of citizenship: passport, voter's registration, citizen- ship papers or birth cer- Rachel Canaan-Kapen Bais Chabad Torah Center of West Bloomfield announces the addition of Rachel Canaan-Kapen to its teaching staff. She will direct the ulpan for people interested in conversational Hebrew. Mrs. Canaan-Kapen was first trained by the Israeli Ministry of Education and certified in 1960 as an ulpan teacher. She received addi- tional certification at the Ulpan Center in New York. She also directed the ulpanim at the Jewish Community Center in Worcester, Mass.
