LOCAL NEWS 24 HOUR YOUR CHAUFFEUR IS WAITING Schaver Papers Go To Wayne Emma Lazaroff Schaver of Southfield has donated the early records of The Morris and Emma Schaver Publica- tion Fund for Jewish Studies to the Wayne State Universi- ty Libraries. The Schaver Fund has made possible the publication of numerous distinguished monographs in Jewish history, literature, and culture through the Wayne State University Press since 1954. The records will be housed in the University Archives at Wayne State's Walter P. Reuther Library of Labor and Urban Affairs. A retired operatic soprano, Mrs. Schaver is a long time supporter of numerous non- profit organizations in the Detroit metro area, including Wayne State University. Her support for music scholar- ships at Wayne State led the institution to name the music department building after her. Her philanthropies also include a wide variety of Jewish causes in the U.S. and in Israel. She has been honored by many organiza- tions for her leadership in civic and charitable affairs. This also will be sponsored by Aleynu before the holidays. Locations will be throughout the nor- thern suburbs. Calsses are free.
