Gan Israel/Allan Camp
Begins Summer Session

Camp Gan Israel/Esther
Allan has just opened for the
summer.
The camp serves 150 girls
in two separate sessions. This
year's boys' session which
usually runs for four weeks
has been extended to run for
seven weeks because of the
large demand.
The camp provides tradi-
tional Jewish values. Daily
programs include games,
waterfront activities and hik-
ing. Partial or full scholar-
ships are provided for
children whose families can-
not afford to pay the complete
fee, according to Basia Shem-
tov, camp director.
A special scholarship fund
has been established in
memory of Charles Feinberg,
a long-time benefactor of the
camp. Martin Goldman has

a
create
helped
synagogue/multi purpose
building for the camp.

Lubavitch Foundation,
