Born in Detroit, Mrs. Lipman held many of- fices in Bloch Chapter. She was the past presi- dent of its bowling league and of its benevolent society. She leaves her hus- band, Arthur; two sons, Sanford and Jonathan; a daughter, Deanna Bran- cheau; a brother, Murray Slomovitz; and one grandson. Mrs. Shapero was ac- tive in Temple Beth El and the Jewish Welfare Federation. She was a member of Franklin Hills Country Club and was a founder of the Sinai Hospital gift shop. Mrs. Shapero leaves a daughter, Marianne Schwartz; a son, Ray; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
