Rolf E. Manko, retired
manager of engineering at
General Electric, died June
22 at age 65.
A former Detroiter, Mr.
Manko resided in Roanoke,
Va., at the time of his death.
He was employed at General
Electric for 37 years.
Mr. Manko was past presi-
dent and chairman of the
board of Beth Israel
Synagogue in Roanoke. He
was active in the Governor
School, received a
Brotherhood Citation from
