°* Alan Orman Will Direct
Windsor Jewish Council
Alan Orman was elected
president of the Windsor
Jewish Community Council
at its annual meeting.
Orman attended Wayne
State University, majoring in
communication arts and
business.
He is vice president and
partner in Freeds of Windsor.
He is a fomrer member of the
Ad and Sales Club and the
Windsor Rotary and is a
member of the chamber of
commerce and the Essex Golf
and Country Club.
Orman has served as chair-
man of the United Jewish Ap-
peal campaign, chairman of
the adult activities commit-
tee and most recently, vice
president of the council. He is
one of the founding members
of the Centre Theatre
Workshop in which he played
many leading roles. He also is
a member of Congregation
Beth El.
Elected with Orman were:
Jerry Alexis, first vice presi-
dent; Harriet Whiteman, se-
cond vice president; Ted J.
Hochberg, Q.C., third vice
president; Barbara Stein,

Expands Hours
American Red Cross blood
donor centers will be open an
hour longer on July 2, in an
effort to bolster sagging blood
collections. Hours for that day
only will be from 9 a.m. to 3
p.m.
