Federation
Adds To Staff

Tonia Rosenberg has been
named associate direc-
tor/development for the
Jewish Welfare Federation's
Federated Endowment Fund.
She will be responsible for
developing marketing ac-
tivities for the Fund and staff
a number of United Jewish
Charities committees.
Rosenberg was senior vice
president of the Michigan Eye
Bank and Transplant Center.
In other appointments,
David M. Moss has been nam-
ed media coordinator for the
communications department.
Formerly a department staff
associate, he is editor of
Federation's newsletter, Com-
munity Currents.
Michelle Blumenberg has
joined Federation staff as a
summer intern from the
University of Michigan.
Among her duties will be the
Neighborhood Project, the U
of M Hillel Capital Endow-
ment Campaign and the
Breakfast Club.
She is the program director
at Ann Arbor's B'nai B'rith
Hillel Foundation and a staff
person at the newly-formed
Hillel at Eastern Michigan
University.

Anti-Bias
Program Slated

A World Of Difference, a
bias-reduction program spon-
sored by the Anti-Defamation
League of B'nai B'rith, will
take part in the ninth annual
Detroit International
Freedom Festival Kid's Day
on Thursday in Detroit's
Cultural Center.
A highlight will be a perfor-
mance by the Burton Interna-
tional School Choir. The per-
formance is scheduled for 11
a.m. at the Show Wagon, at
the corner of Woodward and
Farnsworth. World of Dif-
ference will continue its par-
ticipation in community
events this summer at the
Southfield Festival on Aug.

WSU Prof
Wins Award

Dr. Ronald Aronson, Wayne
State University professor of
humanities, has been award-
ed the Charles Gershenson
Distinguished Faculty
Fellowship.
A member of the WSU
faculty since 1968, Aronson
received his bachelor's degree
from Wayne State and his
master's and doctoral degrees
from Brandeis University in-
Waltham, Mass.
