Winter Cruise
Set For Singles

The Jewish Community
Centers Association of St.
Louis is sponsoring its annual
nationwide Jewish singles
Supercruise. This year's
seven-day cruise departs Feb.
19 from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.,
on Holland America's newest
ship, The Homeric.
Ports of call include: San
Juan, St. Maarten, St.
Thomas, Little Stirrup Cay
(Holland America's private
and exclusive island).
The price includes: Round-
trip airfare from most major
U.S. cities to Florida (low add-
on fares from Canada), with
transfers to the port, eight
meals and snacks a day in-
cluding midnight buffets,
Holland America's captain's
welcome and farewell parties,
daily singles activities, talent
night, all shipboard enter-
tainment and four ports of
call.
The cost for all this runs
from as low as
$993-$1,510/per person based
on double, triple or quad oc-
cupancy and date of booking.
Single occupancy is also
available.
To reserve a space, par-
ticipants are required to place
a $200 deposit now with final
payment due by Dec. 1.
Cruise prices are lowest for
those who send a deposit in by
Oct. 15.

niversary at a dinner-dance
given on July 23 at the Fur-
niture Club. This will be a
full-course dinner with an or-

New Officers

The newly elected officers of
the Michigan Board of Rabbis
(formerly the Rabbinical
Commission of Metropolitan
Detroit) for 1988-1989 are:

An organizational meeting
for a singles movie group will
be held at 7:30 p.m. June 22
at the Jewish Community
Center Maple/Drake
Building. Refreshments will
be served.
The group will meet every
other week at a local theater
followed by a bite to eat at a
nearby restaurant.
