Nursery Has
New Program

Adat Shalom Nursery
School is beginning a new,
two-day program, designed
especially for 2 year olds who
are ready for a full morning
of nursery school activities.
The classes, which will
begin Sept. 8, are offered at 9
a.m. on Tuesday and Thurs-
day mornings. Youngsters
must be between 2 1/2 and 3
years old to enroll. Class size
is limited to 12 children, each
with a teacher and an
assistant.
Nursery school director is
Dottie Levitsky.
The new program is an ex-
pansion of offerings by Adat
Shalom Nursery School,
which now serves more than
300 youngsters. A parent-
toddler program for children
17 months to 3 1/2 years meets
one morning per week. "Just
For Me" is offered at 10 a.m.
for 2 1/4 to 3 year olds. For
children 2 1/2 and up there is a
three-morning program, and
for those 3 and up three mor-
nings or three afternoons are
offered.
Youngsters beginning at 3
years, 10 months may attend
on three or five mornings or
afternoons. The school also
has a transitional kinder-
garten for older 4 year olds
and younger 5 year olds to
bridge the gap between
nursery school and kinder-
garten. Lunch and sup-
plemental enrichment pro-
grams are also available for
those students enrolled in
nursery school.
Currently there are open-
ings in the school's two-day
morning programs, in the
three- and five-day afternoon
classes, in "Just For Me," and
in the parent-toddler classes.
For information, call Ms.
Levitsky, 851-5105.
