George Klein, a shopping
center developer, died June 3
at age 74.
Born in Detroit, Mr. Klein
was co-owner of the Livonia
Mall, first state director of the
Michigan International
Council of Shopping Centers,
a member of Temple Israel,
Perfection Lodge, Moslem
Temple and Crescent Shrine
Club. He was the past presi-
dent of Detroit Lodge of B'nai
B'rith and a member of
Knollwood Country Club and
a life-long patron of the Varie-
ty Club.
He leaves his wife, Helen; a
son, Barry; a daughter,
Janice; two sisters, Mrs. Mor-
ton (Ruth) Yarrows and Mrs.
Dooley (Irene) Cohan; and
three grandchildren.
