Patricia Liss
The Jewish Home for Aged
has appointed Patricia G. Liss
to its executive management
team as director of marketing
and communications.
Liss, of Royal Oak, has prac-
ticed advertising, public rela-
tions and marketing for the
past 13 years. She was
previously public relations
associate for the Jewish Com-
munity Council of Metro-
politan Detroit.
Liss is responsible for cen-
tralizing and planning the
home's communications
strategy in conjunction with
its outside public rela-
tions/marketing counsel. Ef-
forts wil be made on behslf of
the home's two licensed nur-
sing homes, its Home for Ag-
ed, its auxiliary, day pro-
grams and all divisions of
Comprehensive Aging Ser-
vices, Inc., as well as the
LeVine Institute on Aging,
the home's research, educa-
tion and training arm.
Liss has taken courses
toward her M.B.A. degree at
Case-Western Reserve
University in Cleveland,
Ohio, and holds a bachelor's
degree from Syracuse Univer-
sity's S.I. Newhouse School of
Public Communications and
College of Arts and Sciences.

The Jewish Historical
Society of Michigan will hold
its annual luncheon on June
12 at noon in the
Maple/Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center. Reuben
Resnick, former member of
the O.S.S. who lobbied in
Washington for the passage of
the Displaced Persons Act,
will be the featured speaker.
