a skillet. Over medium high
heat, saute the lamb with
pine nuts and seasonings for
5 minutes. Let the mixture
cool. Stuff the zucchini to the
top.
Preheat the oven to 325
degrees.
Place the zucchini in a bak-
ing pan and sprinkle with
half the seasonings. Bake un-
til the exposed sides of the
squash are brown, then turn
and season the other side.
Continue baking until brown
and soft to the touch, about 30
minutes.0

Merit Award
Goes To Ruda

Cell Kliger Ruda recently
received the Merit Award
presented by the Michigan
Mothers Association, an af-
filiate of the American
Mothers Association.
Mrs. Kliger Ruda is active
in Congregation Shaarey
Zedek, serving as public rela-
tions director for the cultural
commission for the past 19
years. She has been the chair-
man of the lbwn Hall Series
sponsored by the Sisterhood
of Shaarey Zedek and has also
served as the publicist for the
Sisterhood's Women's World.
After receiving a R.N.
degree, Mrs. Kliger Ruda
completed her master's
degree in health administra-
tion at Wayne State Univer-
sity and pursued graduate
studies at the pre-doctoral
level at the University of
Michigan, Michigan State
University and the Universi-
ty of Detroit.
She has received a Heart of
Gold Award from United
Community Services.
