The latter, by the way, has raised $2 million, in the past 10 years. Its Sports Challenge is Aug. 20, at Oakland Community College's Orchard Ridge cam- pus on Orchard Lake Rd. in Farmington Hills . . . Tug of War, standing broad jump, basketball shooting, running relay, etc. . . . Marc Lakin is chairman, and Deborah Laurie, 552-9616, director of special events for Sports Challenge. Sept. 29 is its Bachelor and Bachelorette Big Celebrity Auction where celebs are "auctioned off" . . . It'll be at the Radisson Plaza on Nor- thwestern . . .
