Elects Officers
Members of the Sinai
Hospital Guild elected their
1988-1989 officers at its an-
nual meeting.
Re-elected officers include:
Roberta Blitz, president;
Leah Snider, vice president of
fund raising; Madelon
Seligman, vice president of
membership; Hope Silver-
man, vice president of
volunteers; Barbra Chaitin,
financial secretary; and Leo
Ash, treasurer. Elected for a
first term were: Marta Rosen-
thal, vice president of pro-
grams; Ruth Gurwin, cor-
responding secretary; and
Lauren Liss, recording
secretary.
New members of the board
of directors include: Florence
Ashin, Florence Burrows,
Marion Feingold, Marcie
Grant, Sydelle Grant, Susan
Kaufman, Marta Rosenthal,
Cynthia Steinberg, Karin
Steinway and Rissa
Winkelman.
Liss, Rosenthal and board
member Betsy Heuer are
members of the National
Women's Young Leadership
Cabinet of the United Jewish
Appeal.
Sinai President Irving
Shapiro accepted the Guild's
donation of $15,000, two-
thirds of which will go
towards funding Sinai's Tay-
Sachs screening program and
the remainder of which will
go toward research at Sinai.
