Honored For Israel Bonds

Robert J. Mylod will be
presented with the State of
Israel's 40th Anniversary/
Silver Medal at a tribute din-
ner on June 20 at the Hyatt
Regency, Dearborn.
Mylod is chairman, presi-
dent and chief executive of-
ficer of Michigan National
Corp. The black-tie event, to
be held on behalf of State of
Israel Bonds on the occasion
of Israel's 40th year of
statehood, will salute Mylod's
and Michigan National's sup-
port of the Bond program.
Dinner chairman is James
Grosfeld, chairman of the
board of Pulte Home Copr.
Honorary chairmen are Gov.
James Blanchard, U.S. Sens.
Carl Levin and Donald
Riegle, and Dean E. Richard-
son, chairman of the board of
Manufacturers National
Corp. Dinner coordinating
chairman is H. Samuel
Greenawalt, senior vice presi-
dent of Michigan National
Corp.
Mylod joined Michigan Na-
tional in 1985. In addition to
his role as chief of Michigan
National, Mylod is on the
board of directors of the
Detroit Symphony Orchestra,
the United Foundation and
the Economic Club of Detroit,
and a trustee of the Citizen's
Research Council of
Michigan.
This year he was honorary
chairman of the National
Volunteer Week Corporate In-
volvement Task Force and for
the past two years he has
been honorary committee co-
