families to join their "End of
the Year" picnic at the United
Hebrew Schools building on
June 12.
The United Hebrew Schools
program includes develop-
mentally disabled adults,
children who are learning
disabled, developmentally
disabled, emotionally im-
paired, severely multiply im-
paired, and autistic. Three
separate picnics will be held
for students on various func-
tioning levels.

cert for the Michigan Parkin-
son Foundation on June 8.
The evening will feature con-
cert pianists Joseph Gurt and
Fedora Horowitz.
The event is being co-
chaired by Betty Gerisch and
Doreen Hermelin who are
both members of the
Michigan Parkinson Founda-
tion board of directors. In ad-
dition, several members of the
Michigan Parkinson Founda-
tion Board of Directors will be
participating in the event in-
cluding Leonard Borman,
Marshall Cohen, Richard
Herschelman, Monte Korn,
Dr. Peter LeWitt, Frederic
Marblestone and Deborah
Orloff.
The proceeds from this
event will assist the founda-
tion in developing support
groups, provide education,
and support research.
