To Commence

Mark Ridley, owner-
operator of Detroit's three
Comedy Castle stages, is now
opening a school for come-
dians. Called Mark Ridley's
Comedy Castle Laugh
Academy, sessions are
scheduled to begin on Satur-
day. The Laugh Academy will
be the first school of its kind
in Michigan. Jonathon Round
will be the academy's creative
director.
Three levels of classes will
be offered: novice, in-
termediate and advanced.
Each class level is 30 clock-
hours and 10 weeks long.
Three sessions for novice level
students will be offered,
beginning Saturday.
Session times are: Satur-
days, 10 a.m.; Saturdays,
2 p.m.; Mondays, 4:30 p.m.
There is a fee. For informa-
