New York (JTA) — Anne
Henderson-Pollard was flown
from federal prison in Lex-
ington, Ky., to the Mayo
Clinic in Rochester, Minn.,
May 9, apparently for a
medical evaluation.
According to David Turner,
national director of Justice
for the Pollards, she is to be
visited there by Dr. Bernard
Goldberg, a physician who
practices in Chicago.
Henderson-Pollard, 27, is
serving two concurrent five-
year sentences as an ac-
complice after-the-fact in the
activities of her husband,
Jonathan Pollard, convicted

without proper medical care.
Turner said he received this
information from Anne
Pollard's father, Bernard
Henderson, who lives in New
Jersey and spoke to his
daughter by telephone from
the Mayo Clinic.
Turner said several at-
tempts have been made since
Henderson-Pollard was jailed
over a year ago to have in-
dependent specialists
evaluate her condition.
