This exhibit was funded by
a grant from the Michigan
Department of State.

Austin, and a number of
Michigan legislators will be
present at this special
reception.

Elects Zeltzer

New York — George M.
Zeltzer of Detroit, a long-time
activist in Jewish communal
organizations, was re-elected
president of the National
Foundation for Jewish
Culture at its annual meeting

UHS Hires
Administrator

United Hebrew Schools has
hired Carol Singer as the
agency's administrator.
Singer, a CPA, will replace
Rabbi Bernard Moskowitz,
who is retiring after years of
service to UHS as a teacher,
principal and administrator.
Singer worked for 13 years
at the Comprehensive Health
Planning Council of
Southeastern Michigan and
was previously a senior ac-
countant with Arthur Young
& Company in Detroit.
Rabbi Moskowitz, who had
announced his retirement
last spring, was asked to stay
at UHS after Rabbi Gerald
Teller resigned as
superintendent.
