Laurie (Shanfield) Stern, Jen-

son and brother, Gabriel Ryan
(Yaacov Boruch Gavriel).

Harold Berry To Chair
JNF Testimonial Dinner

Harold Berry has been
named general chairman for
the Jewish National Fund's
testimonial dinner honoring
State Sen. Jack Faxon slated
for June 13 at Cong. Shaarey
Zedek.
Berry is a member of
the Governor's Entrepreneu-
rial and Small Business Com-
mission of the State of
Michigan. He serves on the
boards on the following agen-
cies: Independent Business
Research Office of Michigan;
Luella Hannan Memorial
Home (past president); Cong.
Shaarey Zedek (past presi-
dent); Clover Hill Park
Cemetery; American Friends
of Hebrew University (former
chairman of Michigan Chap-
ter); Jewish Theological
Seminary (chairman-Michi-
gan Cabinet); American Jew-
ish Committee:
Berry previously was a vice
chairman of the Detroit
Metropolitan Convention and
Visitors Bureau and is a past
president of the Michigan
Hotel Association.
Berry is a member of the
President's Society of the
University of Rochester. He
received the United
Jerusalem Award from the
Israel Bonds in 1977 and
