Yachad Plans
Picnic At Park

Beth Shalom's Yachad (for
children in grades three-five)
will sponsor a picnic-barbecue
on Sunday. Children will
gather at 11:45 a.m. at the
synagogue youth lounge and
proceed to David Shepherd
Park in Oak Park. Food will
be provided, while games and
crafts will highlight the
event. Contests will also be
held. There is a charge and
friends are welcome. Parents
should pick up their child at
3 p.m. at the park. For reser-

Jerusalem Day
Celebration Due

B'nei Akiva will co-sponsor
a Yom Yerushalayim celebra-
tion for members and their
families on Sunday at
Yeshivat Akiva. Special ser-
vices, a family breakfast and
Jerusalem Day program will
begin at 8:40 a.m. Also par-
ticipating in this celebration
are the Amit Women-Batya
Chapter, Mizrachi-HaPoel
HaMizrachi and Yeshivat
Akiva PTA. The community
is invited.
Sunday Fun Groups, youth
in grades one-five, will attend
a children's concert on Sun-
day. This concert will include
story-telling, a magic show
and balloon man to entertain
the youngsters. Members will
meet at the Young Israel of
Greenfield at 1:45 p.m. Ad-
vance reservations are
required.
In continuation of B'nei
Akiva's fight to free the
Soviet refuseniks, Yuli and
Irma Kosharovsky, members
are sending special postcards
to President Reagan to in-
tervene on the family's
behalf. Anyone interested in
obtaining a pre-printed
postcard, should contact the
B'nei Akiva office, 967-3742.
