Concert At B'nai Moshe
Features New York Cantor
Cantor David Lefkowitz of
the Park Avenue Synagogue
in New York City will be the
guest artist at Cong. B'nai
Moshe's 28th annual Cantor's
Concert at 8 p.m. June 2 at
the Synagogue. The event
also commemorates the 30th
anniversary of Cantor Louis
Klein's tenure with B'nai
Moshe. The event is free and
open to the public.
The program, which is
chaired by Geraldine Paster-
nak, will present a medley of
liturgic, Hebrew, Yiddish and
operatic selections, with solos
and duets performed by Can-
tors Lefkowitz and Klein.
Cantor Lefkowitz will include
an aria from a Mozart cantata
in which King David asks
forgiveness for having sinned.
Cantor-composer Dr. Sholom
Kalib will provide the piano
accompaniment.
Cantor Lefkowitz, a lyric
tenor, has served as cantor of
the Park Avenue Synagogue
since 1976. Educated at the
University of Pittsburgh, the
Jewish Theological Seminary

certs here and abroad, in-

mal panel discussion at 7:30
p.m. Monday. The topic will
be "Do You Need A Will?"
Sidney I. Blackman, C.P.A.,
senior manager of Seidman
