present Dr. Daniel J. Elazar,
political scientist and com-
mentator on Israel's politics
and economy, 8 p.m. Thursday
in the Morris Adler Hall. He
will speak on "The Situation
in Israel Thday: What Bothers
Us?"
Dr. Elazar, who divides his
time between Temple Univer-
sity in Philadelphia and Bar=
Ilan University in Israel,
spent his formative years in
the Detroit area. He is the
author or editor of more than
700 publications, including
30 books.
