present Dr. Daniel J. Elazar,
political scientist and com-
mentator on Israel's politics
and economy, 8 p.m. Thursday
in the Morris Adler Hall. He
will speak on "The Situation
in Israel Thday: What Bothers
Us?"
Dr. Elazar, who divides his
time between Temple Univer-
sity in Philadelphia and Bar=
Ilan University in Israel,
spent his formative years in
the Detroit area. He is the
author or editor of more than
700 publications, including
30 books.

HIAS, the Hebrew Immigrant
Aid Society.
Stollman has been presi-
dent of the Resettlement Ser-
vice of Detroit since 1983.
Fauer is secretary of the
Flint Jewish Federation and
a member of its executive
committee.
