Award-winning film, "Young
At Heart."

SIX MONTHS AGO,
Ahmed Awad received a
healthy 96 percent rating by
the Oakland County Health
Department for the
cleanliness at his Gallery
Restaurant on 10 Mile just
east of Evergreen . . . He's
looking for an even higher
score this time when they
come again soon . . . In
August, it'll be two years
since Ahmed took over as new
owner of the Gallery on 10
Mile . . . tossing out all
canned foods to concentrate
strictly on home cooking.

Cantors To Be
Honorary Fellows

New York — Twenty-four
chazzanim will be inducted as
honorary fellows of the Can-
tors Institute of the Jewish
Theological Seminary at an
academic convocation of the
seminary Sunday. They in-
clude: Sherman Kirshner of
Cong. B'nai Israel of West
Bloomfield and Max Shiman-
sky of Cong. Beth Achim.
Installation of officers will
take place Wednesday. Chaim
Najman of Cong, Shaarey
Zedek will be reinstalled as
secretary.
