York. "They have blocked
space on a lot of cruises," says
Rotenberg, "and they sort of
match people up according to
age and sex. My nephew took
a trip with that company
several years ago. He was 23
years old, and he had a
wonderful time. It was a
group of singles between the
ages of 20 and 35 . . . It was
a 15-day tour to Europe.
"That's an industry all by
itself, to be able to block that
kind of space and then pair
people up."
With more singles now in
the population, Rotenberg
wants to give them a local
travel option, "for people to be
able to know that there's
someplace that they can call
that really wants to promote
singles travel, because there's
a lot of people that are alone
that would like to travel. But
they don't want to travel
alone." ❑
The trip at $1,835 per per-
son is based on double oc-
cupancy per outside cabin
with third and fourth person
rates available upon request.

To Alaska Due

a seven-day "Connect in
Alaska" cruise Aug. 21-28 on
the Sea Princess lines
through The Connector, a ser-

The trip, for singles of all

cruising in Alaska, up to
