Walk For Israel Open To Persons Of All Ages Walkers of all ages will be showing their solidarity when "We Walk As One" for Israel on May 1. Chairman Maurice Opperer stated that more than 1,000 walkers of all ages will par- ticipate — infants in car- riages, families, teens and senior citizens. The first 1,000 to pre-register will receive free hats, according to Opperer. Among the special groups, clubs and students walking together will be AZA and BBG chapters, which will be easily identified by their ban- ners and sweatshirts. Fifteen out-of-town teenagers, guests of the Bir- mingham Temple's youth group, will join their hosts on the walk. The teens will be in Detroit for a conclave spon- sored by the Society for Humanistic Judaism.
