Justice Charles Levin

American Jewish Committee.
He has also served as vice
chairman of the Allied Jewish
Campaign and as vice presi-
dent of the Jewish Communi-
ty Council.
Justice Levin was admitted
to the Michigan Bar in 1947,
the New York Bar in 1949,
the District of Columbia in
1954 and the Supreme Court
Bar of the United States in
1953.
In 1966 he served as a
member of the Michigan Law
Revision Commission, the
same year he was elected to
fill a vacancy on the Court of
Appeals, 1st District. In
November 1972 he was
elected a justice of the
Michigan Supreme Court.
Justice Levin is a member
of the American Law In-
stitute and the American
Judicature Society. He is also
a member of the American
Bar Association, the State
Bar of Michigan, the Detroit
Bar Association and the
Association of the Bar of the
City of New York. He has
served as a board member
and as chairman of the board
of Marygrove College.
