American Immigrants, in ad-

dition to more than 50 ar-
ticles in scholarly journals on
Soviet and East European
politics and Israeli politics.
He has also been active in
the YIVO Institute, the
Memorial Foundation for
Jewish Culture, B'nai B'rith
Hillel Commission, among
others.
