Samuel P. Havis was re-
elected president of the Heb-
rew Benevolent Society at its
recent general board meeting.
Havis is a member of
Perfection Lodge of the
Masons, Crescent Shrine
Club and a board member of
Cong. B'nai David.
He has been a member of
the board of the Hebrew
Benevolent Society for many
years and was active on many
committees. Prior to his re-
cent election, he was a vice
president for two years.
Other officers are: Milton
Oleinick and Ernest Green-
field, vice presidents; Louis P.
Topor, treasurer, Eric Green-
baum, secretary; A.M.
Silverstein, Charles R. Snow
and Melville Richman,
trustees; and Edward Miller,
