SLEEK LOOK bodices of black suits. Both styles come with matching skirts. Bill Blass: Ruffles are a favorite Blass motif, and he usually shows several variations each season. This time, one suit consists of three tiers of large ruffles, starting at the bodice and ending at the hipline. Other suits have ruffles only at the bodice or at the hip. Colors are black, and black and beige. Christian Dior: Choices range from sweet to sophisticated. Among the former are black and white eyelet suits with pink sashes. Among the latter are off-the- shoulder suits in sequined fabrics and in jungle prints. Other styles come in zebra stripes, and in silver and black swirls. Dior suits are known for the fit and support of their built- in bras. Flora Kung: This designer is known for her floral print silk dresses. Her swimsuit line, in- troduced for the first time this year focuses on the fabrics rather than any innovative designs. Kung shows a one- shoulder maillot in a wavy stripe. Other suits are done in a brown and green camouflage pattern, a pattern that looks like marble, and an oversized rose print. Gitano: This youth-oriented manufacturer is showing bright colors and splashy prints. Themes include tropical florals, stonewashed stripes, chemical compound prints, and color blocking. Cabana sets come in novelty prints. Gideon Oberson suit in black, white, gold and hot pink. Gideon Oberson collection at Begadim. 132 IN STYLE
