"It's wonderful for people in the fashion business, and it's a very high tribute." Tavy's husband of 36 years, William Stone, says "I think the Fashion Group and the Historical Museum have done a wonderful job." Stone, who dedicated over 1,200 books and articles of Tavy's to the library, said, "She was a kind, considerate individual, who was a friend to many; the poor, the rich, and the famous." "The Library is a wonderful tribute to a special lady and I think it will be of great interest and help to those interested in the fashion world," he said. The Tavy Stone Fashion Library is open from Wednesday thru Saturday 12-5 p.m.
