colors swirling around them.
Both Siegel and Goudsmit will
be selling a lot of jeans. "Straight
leg jeans with zip bottoms are
still part of the uniform," says
Siegel. "Watch for a new surge
in light blue denim as the
bleached look runs its course
this season," predicts Goudsmit.
Skirts continue to be mini in
length. For the adventurous and
very thin, Bleu Moon is showing
a new, stretch denim pastel mini
skirt, by Jou Jou.
Tiered is the password for
dresses this spring. "Any amount
of tiers with ruffles," says Siegel.
Bleu Moon has a large selection
of Bat Mitzvah dresses for both
services and parties.
One party dress knockout is
an understated, sophisticated
silky peach with drop waist and
lots of tiered skirt. Another has a
ballerina look, with puckered top,
tiered organza skirt and
sequined flowers.
Perfect for the synagogue
service is a pink cotton-lined two
piece dress with short, cuffed
ribbed sleeves, ribbed waist and
pink and white tiered skirt.
"We carry very sophisticated,
trendy fashions, that are often
knock-offs of current women's
fashions," Siegel explains.
"Young girls want to look like
their moms."

SIMPLY CLASSIC

If you have a passion for the
classic look, you'll want to visit
Parsons on Woodward in
Bloomfield Hills.
"We don't feel that children
should look like miniature adults,
dressed in costumes," explain
owners Barry and Lucy Parsons.
Clothing at Parsons is colorful,
tailored and sugar and spice. It's
forever.
For little girls there are rows of
sweet bathing suits, with flowers
and ruffles. There are polished
cotton and knit short outfits with
a nautical flavor, in light blue,
royal blue and red.
