TV Seminar
On Disabilities

The Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion will host a televised
seminar Wednesday on ser-
vices to Jewish individuals
with disabilities over the
Council of Jewish Federa-
tions' satellite network.
Set for 3:30 p.m. at United
Hebrew Schools, the telecon-
ference will feature a keynote
address on "The Need for Ser-
vice from the Jewish Com-
munity" by Shoshana S. Car-
din, CJF past president.
The program will include
an overview of Jewish disabl-
ed, the role of federations and
agencies, and responsibilities
of the community.
Norman Wachler, chair-
man, and Nora Barron,
associate chairman, of
Federation's Task Force on
Services to Persons with
Disabilities, have invited
agency and synagogue
leaders to attend.
