Odyssey Adventures are educationally and culturally enriching
events designed for children grades 3 through 8. Small groups of
children, supervised by teachers and trained professionals, will be

Lecture On Transplants
Dr. Fred Rosner will ad-
dress a gathering of judges,
attorneys and physicians on
March 27 in the Southfield
home of Mr. and Mrs. Mark
Schlussel.
Dr. Rosner, an interna-
tionally known authority on
medical ethics, will address
the topic of: "Organ
Transplants; Medical, Legal
and Ethical Problems, from
the Perspective of Jewish
Law.
The lecture is the second of
the 1987-1988 series of the Ir-
win I. Cohn Memorial Lec-
tures in Talmudic Law, found-
ed by the Lubavitch Founda-
tion of Michigan. The com-
mittee for the lecture series
includes Chairman, Judge
Avern Cohn; and Judges
Hilda Gage, Charles Kauf-
man, Richard Kaufman,
Charles Levin, Joseph Per-
nick, John Shepherd, Michael
Stacey and Helene White.
The brunch-lecture will be
chaired by Judge John
Shepherd of the Michigan
Court of Appeals.
Dr. Rosner is director of the
department of medicine of the
Queens Hospital Center
which is affiliated with the
Long Island Jewish Medical
Center. He is also professor of
medicine at the State Univer-

tor of academic affairs,
Hebrew University of
Jerusalem Rothenberg School
for Overseas Students, will be
the guest lecturer at the
"Israel: Idealism/Realism"
lecture series on Sunday at
2 p.m. at the Jimmy Prentis
Morris building of the Jewish
Community Center. Along
with Dr. Friedlander, there
will be a panel of rabbis who,
with Dr. Friedlander, will
discuss the issue of "Religious
Pluralism — An Israeli and
American Perspective."
The final lecture of the
series will be held on March
27 at 2 p.m. at the Jimmy
Prentis Morris building with
Moshe Fox, consul for press
and information, Consulate
General of Israel, Chicago.
