But this arbitrator looks at
six sides. Why? Because
Mama had to salt the meat on
six sides to make it kosher. If
you only look at two sides,
you've left something out.
The opposite of anything is
equally valid."
Sometimes tactics used in
the office are required closer

strong ideas in many areas,"
Sperka says. "How do we han-
dle our differences? We
negotiate."

1988 Programs
Tel Aviv (JTA) — Jews
abroad who have filed for im-
migration to Israel are now
reconsidering because of "the
situation" in the adminis-
tered territories, according to
Uri Gordon, head of the Jew-
ish Agency's immigration
department. In addition,
about 3,000 of the 6,000
overseas Jewish youths who
regularly attend the Jewish
Agency's annual summer
camp programs in Israel have
not registered this year be-
cause of the ongoing dis-
turbances.
But summer programs run
by several other organizations
have not yet experienced such
shortfalls. In New York, a
spokesman for a firm working
with the Jewish Agency said
that the National Federation
of Temple Youth and the
B'nai B'rith Youth Organiza-
tion were not reporting a
decline in registration for
their summer programs.
Parents of prospective tra-
velers are taking a wait-and-
see attitude to see if the situa-
tion in the territories calms
down by the beginning of
summer, the representative
said.

Visits Israel
Aviv (JTA) — The distur-
bances in the West Bank and
Gaza Strip have drawn harsh
criticism of Israeli policies in
Sweden, Swedish Foreign
Minister Sten Andersson said
upon his arrival in Israel
Monday.
Andersson, a member of the
ruling Social Democratic Par-
ty, said he considers himself
a "real friend of Israel" and
observed that "real friends
are those who speak honest-
ly." He said he had not come
to Israel to give advice "but
to help you get out of the
serious condition now ex-
isting."

Bursitis-Everybody's Problem
Including Your Chiroptactor
BY DR. STANLEY LEVINE, D.C.
Although bursitis is often
referred to as "housemaid's
knee," "a game arm," or "a
working man's disorder." it
can strike
anyone at
any time,
usually be-
ginning in
the thirties
or forties.
A sudden
shift in posi-
tion, a fall,
or a gradual
MR
postural
DR. STANLEY
change can
LEVINE
displace the
muscles or bones of the af-
fected area. When this hap-
pens nerve impulses cannot
reach the bursa, a small fluid-
filled sac which cushions and
lubricates the bones and
muscles. The fluid dries up
and becomes gritty. The
cushioning effect is gone, and
the affected area becomes ir-
ritated and inflamed.
Bursitis may first appear as
only a minor soreness or
recurring pain in the elbow,
knee or most often in the
shoulder. During this time,
heat, cold or aspirin may
bring temporary relief. But
recurring twinges of pain in
the shoulder are not healthy
signs. They are Mother
Nature's warning that serious
trouble is on its way.
If left untreated, the condi-
tion will steadily worsen until
sharp, excruciating agony
brings its crippling effect. Nor-
mal movement is prevented
and the greatest athletes are
sidelined while the housewife
and working man find it dif-
ficult if not impossible to per-
form their daily tasks. Because
of the very nature of bursitis,
the Doctor of Chiropractic is
thought to be well suited to
treat it. He knows that lasting
relief is impossible until tilt
cause of the trouble is
eliminated.
By putting the muscles and
bones of the affected area back
into alignment, he can pave
the way for the nerve impulses
to flow again. When this hap-
pens, the bursa can again act as
a cushion and lubricant and
body joints will provide the
freedom of movement
necessary to everyday living.
